Attorney A Scott Bolden, Partner at Reed Smith
A. Scott is a current member of the Executive Committee of the firm, a former Managing Partner of the firm's Washington, D.C. office and is a member of the Global Regulatory Enforcement Group. He regularly advises corporate and individual clients on legislative, regulatory, corporate and litigation issues before the Mayor and Council of the District of Columbia, on Capitol Hill, and with the Executive Branch departments and agencies. He works with clients to develop and advocate positions on pending legislation and regulations including formulating strategies, preparing testimony and lobbying for clients’ interests. As a former President of the DC Chamber of Commerce (1998), A. Scott remains a leading advocate for business interests in the nation's capital and the implementation of comprehensive regulatory reform. Under his leadership, the Chamber became the leading voice for business in the District of Columbia.
